Happy Anniversary and Addie's 6 months!

Well, today is our 5th anniversary. I can't believe how time flies. I love you Mike!

Addie is now almost 8 months old. She is rolling everywhere, has one tooth, loves to talk, waves, says dada, and only wants mom, dad, or a few certain others. These pictures are from 6 months. I love them. My sister-in-law Julie took them. Check out her website http://www.jbpphotography.com/. I put a lot of them on because I couldn't choose what one to put! The first picture is actually the last. She was done with pictures by this point. She is the best!

She's here... a month ago

Our beautiful baby girl is finally here! Addison was born on September 23rd. We are all doing really well. Mike is such a good dad. Addie already has Mike wrapped around her little finger. She is such a blessing in our lives. We love her so much!

SURPRISE!!

We are SOOO excited to announce that we are going to have a baby in September!
We are thrilled we are having a girl! We totally thought it was a boy. Everything everyone told us made us think we were having a boy but when we went to our last appointment the doctor was sure it was a girl! We were SO surprised!
Sorry for the lack of posts but between tax season and the pregnancy, I've been a little preoccupied!

Our Cruise!

As many of you know, we just got back from our week long cruise! It was a total blast! We haven't been on such a fun vacation in a long time. We went with The Shaw's and The Sorensen's, which we consider our second families. They are awesome. It was so relaxing. The weather was awesome and the food was great. (Obviously because Mike gained 15 pounds!) We were gone over Thanksgiving and we missed our families but it definitely went by way too fast. We flew into Ft. Lauderdale and left on the cruise the next day out of Miami.

This is us when the ship is pulling our of the port.

As you can see it was really windy.
Here is everyone we went with on formal night.

There is so much to do on the ship. Mike never even wants to get off of the ship. We did the Flowrider (which is harder than it looks), rock climbing, ice skating, swimming, went to the gym, miniature golfing, tons of things.

Flowrider

Yes, I did make it to the top of the rock climbing wall even though Mike doubted me.

Sprinkles was one of our favorite stops on the ship. It was the self-serve ice cream cones. We had to stop there every time we walked by!

I made Mike get a picture by the towel animal that the maid made every night. He wasn't too thrilled about it.

Our first stop was Puerto Rico... Not my favorite. This is Mike and Skyler in between all the buildings.

This is St. Maarten. It was absolutely beautiful. I loved this island. We went out on a catamaran, snorkeled, and played on the beach.

The last place we visited was Haiti. It was also a beautiful island. We were at Royal Carribeans private resort, which was such a fun time.

This last picture is Mike's favorite. He swears he is going to have this car someday.

Anyway, I know this is kind of a long post but we had an awesome time and I just wanted to share it with you!

Two Special Occasions

We've had two big events in our fam recently. First of all, my neice got blessed. She is so cute, I just love her. It is so fun to finally have a neice after 5 nephews, although I absolutely adore my nephews. Here's a few pics from the lunch afterwards.

All the gals in our family

My Mom and Christiana

The other huge event was my Grandma's 80th Birthday! I have always been so close to my Grandma so this was a blast. It was a TOTAL surprise! She had no idea, which made it so fun. My Uncle even flew in from Arizona. All my fam was there except my brother Jeff. We missed you Jeffy! Oh and Mike wasn't there because it was deer hunting weekend (BOO, don't get me started) Anyway, we had a great time and I think my Grandma loved it. She said she NEVER thought she would live until she was 80. I just hope I can be as hip and healthy as she is when I'm 80.

RD had to pretend he was taking her to lunch and we were all waiting at Maddox!

This is all the "originals" (no spouses or kids) at Maddox.

We made this book at shutterfly.com. I was put in charge of this and I absolutely loved how it turned out. We got EVERYONE to make their own page of memories right down to the great-grandkids. It was awesome and I think she loved it!

Here's her cake!

It's always so fun to get together with the fam! I love you all!

Finally, a new post!!

Thank you to all of you who haven't given up on us! I'm so sorry it has been so long since I've done a post. It has been a pretty rough month for Mike and I. It seems like when it rains, it pours. It's just been one thing right after another but instead of focusing on the bad, we want to share some of the fun/good things. :)

In August, Mike and I got to go to Lake Powell. We had a blast! That has got to be one of the best, most relaxing places to vacation. Here's a few pics of our wakeboarding skills.

We also went to Bear Lake. I love going to Bear Lake. We used to go to Bear Lake every year when we were little. I have so many memories from up there. I couldn't help but shedding a few tears as we drove down the main street and the flood of memories came back to me.

Of course with Mike, we couldn't get a good normal picture.
As most of you know... Mike is always the life of the party. The Box Elder County Fair was no exception. We convinced him to ride the mechanical bull. It was the highlight of the night for me and everyone who went with us. We were laughing so hard, we couldn't talk. He, needless to say, was a little sore afterwards.

Awhile back, it was one of our best friend's birthday. There was a big inside joke between all of us and so Mike decided he was going to make a shirt. He went to Michael's and bought the shirt and iron-on letters. I was sooo impressed when I got home and saw how well he had done. I didn't even know he knew how to work the iron.

Well, what do you think?
